Fayanne Hayes artist, educator, curator is the current executive director of Art Center Sarasota, Hayes has extensive experience in developing interactive educational exhibitions, community building projects and programs for art and historic museums and learning centers. She has worked collaboratively with artists and diverse community organizations to create exhibitions that integrate multiple perspectives and disciplines and promote dialogue. As senior education specialist /curator of education exhibitions for the Ringling Museum of Art for ten years Hayes developed numerous interactive hands-on education exhibitions in the Museums Art Galleries, Historic Home, and Museum of the Circus. She has developed interactive educational exhibitions for the Family Heritage House Museum of African American Achievement, The Florida House Environmental Learning Center, St. Pete Art Center’s Project Creo, The South Florida Museum, and Art Center Sarasota. Hayes’ 2 and 3-dimensional work has been featured in national publications, solo and group exhibitions. Ms Hayes has been a presenter at national conferences and has served on state and local grant review panels Hayes holds a BFA, with emphasis in sculpture and MA in Art Education with emphasis in interactive learning and audience research.
